Well it was an excursion for Mrs D, but it turned out to be an adventure for all of us!! The ice rink at the Natural History Museum!! Woo hoo!! Lots of fun!! £10 for an hour on the ice. Chrissie, Margaret and myself had a fab time!!

Ahh what fun!! I obviously enjoyed myself!! Had a fab night at Lisa's flat drinking and chatting. There was even a girl from Cooma - Annalise Grey - that I hadn't seen for about 15 years!! We all traipsed down to Putney bridge to see the fireworks go off around the area, then I disappeared and ended up in a pub by myself. Chatted to a few blokes for a while and then headed back to the flat. Had a fab night!! Hope you all did too!!

Saturday 7th Jan. The place: Belsize Park. We'd all gathered for a night of mystery and murder!! EEk!! There were 8 of us all together with different costumes and characters. I was engaged to be married to a bloke named Bunny!! hmmm...... There was also a nun, an American, a couple of germans a French woman and my uncle. Who killed Mellors?? was the question..... turned out it was me!!! Fantastic night! Thanx again Taz!!

Happy New Year!! What a great year I'm sure it will turn out to be!!

I've only been looking after Mrs D now for a month and already have weekends off and holidays planned up until July!! Woo hoo!! Hopefully I can find the people to cover!!

It was such a rush to get everything finished before Xmas that I really lost track of time and so didn't get in touch with anyone and for that I'm sorry!!

We had the builders in renovating the bathroom and the laundry/storage room. They ended up staying for an extra couple of days and still didn't finish it all!! (well the fixtures anyway!!). I had to buy a new dishwasher, vacuum cleaner and microwave for the flat as the old ones had ahad the Richard. The novelty of new appliances and how they work hasn't worn off yet.... every day is like Xmas!!!

There are also new blinds on the way and carpets for the flat too!!! The builders will be back in soon to repaint and refit the windows and it looks like I will have to get a new refridgerator soon too!!! fun fun!!

Anyway I hope this new year brings heaps of good things for you and your family/friends!! Take care!!
