late on Saturday night Kaie and I met Toni and her pals for a few birthday brews and some boogying and chatting. A great night out ensued and my necklace went down a treat with the lads.... I wonder why???

My sis-in-law 2 B???? Michaels' girflriends' sister Kaie has been working in Killarney for the past 3months and is now visiting me in London til Monday!

We've been having a great time sightseeing and partying! Fridaynight we went to The Warwick in Soho for a few drinks and a lot of dancing!I made the mad decision to wear my 3 inch heels so I was megamaid! Just under 6'3" I was definately the tallest gal in town!

Had a fab night chattting and dancing a jig with the Irish lads we met and then headed home to bed

"Tuesday 15th Aug saw Chrissie, Mrs D and I head for Cumbria. My boss Andrew has his home up there Nibthwaite Grange. Just south of Coniston Water for those of u who know where the Lakes District is and have been there before..

It was quite a nice time actually. Took 5 hours to drive up there (90miles most of the way........ well almost... go speed racer!!!) and 7 1/2 hours to get back.. darned rain! couldn't see 3 metres on front of me! QUite scary really but that's not all.....

Anyway took out another wing mirror! Have a bad rep for them... but this was entirely my fault... Middle of day 2 I practically fell asleep at the wheel!! Shit scary people!! Was nodding off and followed a car that I thought was moving, but realised at the last millesecond that it was a parked car! slammed on the brakes and swerved (thank G for power steering!!) out of the way clipping the left wing mirror and freaking out everyone in the car... Luckly there was no damage to the other car (i did the right thing and checked.. the poor wing mirror was a gonner though.. 7 years bad luck to me!) and i just parked the car and crashed for a half hour whilst Chrissie took Mrs D for a walk. It always amazes me how a half hour power nap can totally recharge a person!

So was fine to drive after that. Bit shaken, but certainly not stirred! Funnily enuf driving back to London the next day I was a bit wary of other cars and took note of all the goings on in the road. My boss had also made me promise that i wasn't to do over 80 miles (no fun!!) and I ended up one of the slowest cars on the road! was suprised at the diefference in speeds.. 10 miles difference was alot when most people were driving at 80 miles plus!

So my message to u is take a break when U r tired.. don't think u can survive for the next 7 miles... cos u really can't!"

Nadine and Little Michelle (no 2?) hosted a BBq at their flat in Canada Water.... was it a housewarming?? was it a BBQ?? I think all of the above.. the new usual suspects were there.. me... Barbara.. Nadine (natch!). Ate soooo much! ever heard of a cob??? I hadn't! delicious!! mmmm yum! bring em on!

Everything happens at once! My pal Dahlia that I met in Edinburgh last August whilst moonlighting as a cleaner arrived Thurday for a few days... Later that arvo Teri called and since i hadn't seen her in 6 years we had 2 catch up! Here we all are in Covent Garden.

Piano Bar Shennanigans!

I've been having alot of fun lately... shopping! All the summer slaes areon now and there's heaps of great deals on. Found some lovely tops and finally a decent denim skirt!! yay!! no more scabbing off everyone else!!

Anyway decided to get glammed up for the Piano Bar.. all new clothes! Have some funky new shoes too... but they make me 6' 2" tal! Can have fun scaring the shorties out there!! heh heh

Went down to Brighton on Saturday (5th August) for the Brighton Pride Parade and to see Richard and his men. What a fab day/evening! hung out round the Revenge Tent and saw Dame Edna Experience and a few other cabaret acts, had a few brews and boogied the night away.

Otherwise not much else ging on.. am still in the planning stages for the next holiday but nothing solid yet. August; I won't be going anywhere as I have people coming to visit me! Teri whom I haven't seen in 6 years from Alaska is over with her hubby and bubby, and my pal Dahlia that I met in Edinburgh last August (wow the year has gone fast!!) is here in the next coupla days!

So will have a busy month sightseeing round London and partying hard!!
