Hey hey there!!

The Love Parade! 15th July for the first time in 2 years.. fewer numbers and a lack of funding meant that it was off for the past 2 years, but it was back with a vengeance this year!! over 00 000 people attended following 30 plus floats around the Siegessaule (Victory Column) and up to the Brandenburg Gate. I was expecting there to be a massive crush of people the whole day but was pleasantly suprised when it only became a massive squeeze at the end of the evening when the 10 best floats from the day raved aroud the monment to the beat of Paul Van Dyke. Kaylene and I had hooked up with pals from the previous days' Fat Tires Bike Tour so there were 12 of us raving the day away in the sun and heat of Berlin. We ended the night climbing onto the top of a toilet block and grooving to the latest techno/house beats pumping into the night.
